Sorry I should have been more informative. Ok so I was due to border bounce 20th March, 30 day stamp expired 21st March. Borders closed. I emailed the British embassy on Friday about the letter with no reply. I emailed again yesterday with an instant reply and now have my personalised letter. So I am currently in 5 days of overstay, and I'm wondering will the 2500 baht fine be waived or will I have to pay it even though I couldn't leave and the British Embassy support's this fact.

Fly to Cambodia and back tomorrow. Or land border run to Cambodia (if they're still open)

Oh I didn't know it was difficult to get one there.

Do you know how often, if ever, people get knocked back from doing the Ban Laem border crossing? This is looking to be my only viable option at the moment. Thanks again for the help 😁👍🏻

Thanks for the quick reply

6 months on 1 passport then 6 on the other for the passed 3 years. Never had issues with not getting in or extensions. AUS passport will be brand new. Should be here any day now.

Flying in and out is definitely an option but I don't want to fly, that's the thing. Just trying to exhaust other avenues first. Thanks 😁
