Sorry tod have to disagree with you this time. They explicitly would not give us a multi reentry UNTIL after we receive the 1 year. When they asked for the 1900 we asked about multi entry and were told not until the popo check us and we get the followup stamp

Literally did this this morning with the wife in Chiang Mai. She is now under consideration until Jan 13, and they EXPLICITLY said to not leave, because we need a house visit by the police to verify our marriage. After the visit, we will receive a call to update the visa to 1 year and then we can leave freely. I would double check if I was you.

I thought the notary copies of our marriage certificate, and my statement saying that we were still married to get her visa in the first place was enough. But got it, we have a bunch more way to go. Thanks a million, I'll get a Kor Ror 22 as soon as we get here.

New question, so we are just bouncing around the country for a year until we find a permanent place to purchase/rent. Will the residence we are at for 3 months be ok? Or do I have to purchase a home, or have a 1 year lease?

Well we were married in the USA, so we don't have a thai marriage document. Or do we need to register somehow?

I want to get on my knees and thank you, that was the most concise and helpful response I've gotten in months. followup though, I see it wants 6 family photos? Just 6 random photos of me and the wife, just like off of facebook?
