15 days!? Omg 😦 How many business days was this? I’m currently in Cambodia 🇰🇭 now with an application in process

I’ve been watching the packages with Safety Wing for years but when compared with what’s included and acceptance by hospitals that’s changed things. A lot depends on the policy coverage you want, how much you want to pay out if something happens. I’ve opted only for in patient as outpatient things are affordable enough/ aren’t covered.

I used to have Vumi and recently switch to Cigna which you can have as a TH/ UK “homes” for your policy and the global coverage is a worthwhile upgrade if you travel a lot.

I’m currently in the process with them so will update you with outcome! So far having the app to get all your documents in order has been sooooo helpful!

I’m interested to know your outcome. I’m also a UK passport but in Thailand (not applied yet as gathering that liquid cash requirement), I have confirmation from HMRC as well about being an overseas person. I assume it wouldn’t be an issue as they seem more concerned about the money in the bank and the ability to show you will continue to be working so you will be bringing money into Thailand to spend.
