so for the tourist visa application, I have to apply it in Hong Kong, and I also need to fly from Hong Kong to Thailand directly? What about a situation that when I am in HK, apply the tourist visa online, then I go to other country for a week or two for short trip, then upon the evisa approval, can I flight from that country to Thailand ?

nearby country such as Laos? but seems Laos does not use online application , so do I go into Laos, do to the Thai embassy there and apply? do you know how many days does it take to apply?

I learnt from some other post that, HK passport is visa waiver, and cannot get 30 day extension

For the 12-month international transfer record, is there any requirement on the transfer remark needed to be printed in statement? or as long as they are international transfer ? and even if I transfer those from my own account in home town to thai bank account ?

Hi Ellie, one more question, for the husband having elite visa, when he leaves Thailand once and come back again, how the immigration know to let him in with visa-exempt ? (given his elite visa is still valid)
