He can. But he'd better do it in a hurry because Thailand is talking about reducing the 60 day visa exempt back down to 30 days.

Then you did something wrong. They ALWAYS stamp you out.

And they always stamp you in regardless of your visa.

Why are you hiding your current bank statements. That's a HUGE red flag.

You won't need an agent.

One caution: Be careful where you open your bank account. If you open it but don't end up living in the same city you have to go back to the original branch if you ever have to make changes or fix a problem.

One last thing. As you're driving to the bank to open your account, if you see Bangkok Bank, smile and wave and keep driving.

I used Bangkok Bank for a while. I can't think of any force on this Earth that would get me back with then. They locked up my account because (they said) my tourist visa had expired. I have an LTR. Took 9 months before they would give me access to my money.
