yes I will wait a bit more to see what the requirements for STV are, if they are the same I will have no choice but to get the SETV or visa exempt and then figure out what to do on the spot. If they will remove the requirement of prebooked/prepaid housing for the first 90 days and the local insurance requirement, for the STV, everything will be much easier! Any idea when they will discuss that matter? I will be leaving for Phuket 24th of October so I have not too much time left.

yes so that would be my secondary option, I think that when the covid extension will revoke the borders to neighboring counties will open up, this is also just hopes🙂

Yes it is a bit risky to have to enter with only hopes, but no risk no reward 🙂 but if they revoke the covid extension I would be able to get the ED or volunteer visa pretty quickly with an agency.

I think the cheapest option would be getting the TR visa for 90 days and then hope the covid extension is still available and use that until it gets revoked and then get a 6 month ED visa or hope borders open up by then do border runs :)

But with STV visa I would not need to attend anything just get the visa.

Like ED visa you need to go to school, or volunteer visa you need to volunteer and so on.

alright, I heard that STV could be a bit problematic with housing and later on extensions and visa changes. People doesn’t seem to recommend it.
