From what I understand the accounts are not frozen you will only be able to do online transaction if the SIM card are using is the SIM card registered with the bank

If you are using a different SIM card you will not be able to do online transaction

thank you for the answer however I have a problem with lease agreement as I will not have one.

Will this be a problem and if so how can I overcome that?

I had to cancel my lease as i don't know how long the treatment will last

With your renewed passport you probably received a letter telling you how long you have before you have to stop using your old passport

my only thought on this is this is Thailand and they seem to change the rules to suit whatever criteria they invent like I said this is the first time in 4 years that I have been asked and the money always sits in a term deposit account

I always thought that you have to be closest immigration department to get your visa done but maybe I am wrong I wouldn't even know where there is another one close by
