It's crazy I know. I lost a big client like that in the early days of this craziness. 40M baht coverage from AXA and they wouldn't accept it... just keep pounding at them because you won't be able to get the certificate they are insisting on. Your situation is like of cases

They’re wrong , especially with the certificate you have. I’m an agent with axa here in Bangkok. They’re just not used to seeing that certificate and their systems are not updated. Try going the email route and get a real person not a drone to review your case.

you have no idea what you are talking about re: hotel rates. Any where from 12-24k baht of the asq hotel fee goes to the hospital and medical staff that they have aligned with to provide the mandatory testing and any medical services. Or did you think that was all free?

Do some math and figure out the nightly rate that actually goes to the hotel.
