I have a question, (I'm currently in Thailand for travel) I would like to apply for digital nomad visa (DTV). Ok for the 500k bhat part, but if I have well understood these money should be on my personal thai bank account chai mai?

That's the point, how to open a thai bank acccount to put the 500k bhat?

As a tourist you cannot open a Thai bank account, you need a work permit or student visa
