If you are going to be in Thailand short term travel insurance will work fine , but for anything longer I would suggest to get a normal health insurance policy . The guys at

Your best bet is to get travel insurance from your home country if only here for 2 months …. I would avoid buying it from Asia …. There are a few that really stand out like digital nomads and I believe it’s called safety wings …. Can easily be bought on line

… one of the top providers in Thailand. they dont take short term visa though only 1 year or longer. Never had a problem with any claims ,,my agent took care of me and all my claim, and brought me gifts in the hospital. and they actually pay me if i have to stay in the hospital…..
