why would it be any more difficult in country as opposed to out? I do have the company admin who would help me here in country which gives me some peace of mind. But what you say is something I need to consider then.

all very helpful as always in this forum. Would it be wise that I just get a tourist visa in Lao and enter and obtain the non B in country? Full service meant that I thought they weren't offering all services as they had in the past due to covid. So Lao Thai consulate is back offering the same as before?

yes that makes sense. Just curious if I tell them Ill finsih with them end of Jan or end of Feb even, have it cancelled prior to Jan, but giving myself a bit more time just in case. It would be cancelled but with a longer period, maybe there is a standard timeframe allowed? 2 weeks?

Tod mentioned that I cancel it in CM using a letter from the current school stating when I will complete courses with them, in advance. Then they will stamp my passport with a temporary stamp in order to give me time to get the new visa in Bangkok. I believe this is the case and makes the most sesne
