You can apply as early as 90 days prior the date of planned arrival.

Once the DTV is issued you have the option of arrive earlier or later than the date you have stated in the application. You have 5 years to utilise the visa.

You should call the embassy. Maybe the embassy will issue the visa closer to the date you specified as your date of arrival in Thailand.

Educational Institutions do not issue DTV; Thai Embassy or consulate does.

That’s insurance they are selling you, I believe. You don’t need to buy it but some branches will ask you.

Inform your PH immigration that DTV is not the same as Non B.

Anonymous participant at NYC I noticed that they issue 2-3 days before the planned travel.

Sometimes the embassy will issue it close to the date of your travel. There’s nothing to worry about if it has been Pending Approval for awhile now.
