I just flew to KL last week to do a border bounce.

I left Phuket on 8.10am Airasia flight and returned same day at 6.15pm on Airasia again.

No questions.

No request to show 20k or covid documents.

Just straight through at both ends with no issues other than how to kill 7hrs in an airport.

is correct the £5000 for 6 months is just for multiple entry not the single entry.

Single entry says just bank statements, so obviously they still want to see some money in your account, perhaps being deposited from your work.

But in answer to your question yes you need to provide all that is being asked for.
Stuart ********
Actually its not just a bank statement.

One of the criteria to get either a single entry or multiple entry tourist visa in the UK to visit Thailand is to show that you have a balance of £5000 in a bank account for atleast 6 months before application.

It can be more and for longer but anything less will guarantee you being declined.

Try setting up a UK vpn and then open your virgin app in the vpn.

The vpn will tell the server u are in thw UK and you can access your money from Thailand.

Apples and Oranges.

You seem to be talking about completely different things.

Thai elite visa application and Biometrics on arrival are a completely different process.

As for the cost....well some people have alot of spare money and think nothing of using 600'000bt on a 5year thai elite visa.
Stuart ********
@Wayne ********
your talking about immigration biometics on arrival and departure.

Im talking about Thai elite visa only check for overstay immigration stamps within passport when issueing or declining elite visa.

Thai elite they dont check fingerprints.

I have personal experiece of this, you clearly do not.
Stuart ********
@Wayne ********
they dont check finger prints.

They just look passport.
Stuart ********
As mentioned above, get a new passport.

I had a 1 day overstay in my passport and was declined the 5year elite visa last year during the height of the covid pandemic, i was already located within Thailand though.

recently, last 2 weeks of April through to the 1st 2 weeks of May.

I was in Phuket, Kho Yao Yai, Phi Phi, Khao Sok.

I was asked for vaccine certificate often!

Hotels, boats, buses, blue tree waterpark and khao sok national park....im sure was more but i cant remember.
Stuart ********
I also have recently been asked for vaccine certificate to get on buses, minivans, into blue tree waterpark and even some national parks.

I have been asked for the vaccine certificate at high end and mid range resorts aswell as some high end restaurants.

I was asked for vacvine certificate to get to phi phi, maya bay and island hoping tour in krabi.

My point is do not be surprised if your limited to what u can do being unvaccinated here in Thailand.

Yes things are changing now.....but slowly.
