I'm applying for a 90 days tourist visa (stv) at thaievisa.go.th. I would like to stay 6 months, but 90 days seems to be the maximum. A friend of mine told me to get a so-called "multiple entry tourist visa", and then you just cross the border once and go back, but I can't find that kind of visa anywhere. I was also told that I could just extend my visa once I'm in Thailand.

I have gotten a good offer from my Danish insurance company, and I would prefer to have such a health insurance in my native language. I have asked if it will get me into the country and they said yes, but on the Thai e-visa site it explicitly says "Health Insurance issued by thai insurer".

Lots of contradicting information...

Well, that's the one I have been using. Hmm, I'll just refrain from uploading anything there. I guess the people processing the applications are aware that there is an obsolete field in the form. Thank a million for your help!

Thanks! Do you know if there's a more up-to-date website from where you can apply?
