this was before the pandemic. I was still on the actual ED visa.

On another occasion many years back, I also ran out of pages and did a border crossing with both passports in malaysia on a TR visa. Took them some time to figure out what was going on but had no issues after all

I was in the same situation, back then on a ED visa but it works the same.

I actually went with both passports to immigration and they transferred the visa to the new one. In your case you can just leave and show both passports

Tod Daniels precisely. They did say though I would get a 30 day on arrival by plane but who can promise me that right?!

Benjamin Hays to try the Thai consulate in Ho Chi Minh. They gave me a void, same conditions as op. I met every condition, had everything with me but still. Will try to get in by air tonight. I have a receipt from my school for a paid course in Thai. The ministry of education has changed rules and the only reason why I’m not on an ed visa yet is because of the paperwork which needs to be changed

Tod Daniels I’m here under the same conditions and was denied. I advise not to do this in Ho Chi Minh.
