Most minor traffic offences such as speeding are classed as summary only offence and attract a financial sanction only in the courts. These offences don’t show up on DBS checks but are only recorded against your driving licence record. HOWEVER, offences such as drink / drugs driving, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified are “recordable” offences as they can carry a term if imprisonment on conviction. These are the type of offences that would be disclosed on a DBS check.
I am going to wait until after Christmas and see how it’s going. If we are no further forward then that’s my plan. BUT………..VFS are completely irrational. I have known them accept premium service applications one day, and decline them the next. They are so inconsistent. But you loose your original fee. no refunds, and it means another visit to the Trendy Building!
Usual SLA (service level agreement) is 3 weeks. It has been reported that for a standard UK visitor visa, it is taking up to 13 weeks! My gf did her biometrics on 1st November. We are still waiting. Also told that so many people are cancelling the standard service because of the delays and resubmitting their application for the premium fast track service for 9000 bahts more. Those applications are getting priority.
there is a clinic on the opposite side of the road to the Big C extra entrance on Central Pattaya Road. I forget the name. 590 bahts with proper certificate. I used last month……… and yes, antigen test is sufficient for your return to the UK but also check the airline too should their requirements be different.
