FYI, If you haven't already extended your 30 days stamp, you can do that once for a further 30 days at your local immigration office, 1900THB. No need to leave Thailand 🇹ðŸ‡
tourist visas are also meant for tourist. Hence the commonly used term visa run, where people go and get a new visa.... As opposed to the commonly used term, border bounce where people bounce out of Thailand and back in to renew their admitted until date stamp.
yeah, but here is Thailand not elsewhere... And it's not accepted terminology by many who know the difference
When people are doing a 'run' as you put it... There's no way of knowing what kind of 'run' they want to do or even of they need to do one at all. Many people do border runs who could have just extended their stamp.
You like your emotive terms... "Ditch the axe" it's not an axe though is it. It's an attempt to avoid confusion.
and those who aren't 'new here' tend to use more precise terms, to accurately describe what they want, as they know asking for apples will often get you pears, unless you know the difference.
yet they are different things entirely. But there's always someone that claims apples and pears are the same thing, which only adds to confusion when you actually want an apple but are given a pear and told it's the same... It's not.
Extend your visa exemption for 30 days at your local immigration office. Then border bounce out and back in to Thailand, and do the same again, extending your new 30 day stamp a further 30.
