We have about 12 SA teachers currently in Ban Pong. Arrive on a tourist visa and move onto a new visa if you snag a job with a work permit.

Yeah I am asking for a friend and was I guess curious if the over 50 consideration was the same as marriage where proof of funds were not needed in HCMC, obviously not.

Is Savannakhet the only option for a Non-O visa based on marriage without proof of funds?

Is easy. Just make sure you have a letter written by your wife saying you are married. Past that no proof of funds needed. Embassy is quiet and fast.

Ho Chi Mihn city. No proof of funds require. You get 12mths MEV that can be extended to 15mths based on marriage.

Ching Chang Doesnt require 6 mths merely current balance. Employer letter, be creative if you have to, be employed by someone doing contract work and you have a job to come back to. Stop saying no to people and offer potential solutions.
