Travis never elaborated on which border he was denied entry from. He asked for people with connections at Nong Khai border but this doesn't mean it's where he got denied entry. Also, he didn't mention the writing in Thai in his passport. If there was a note saying to not let him in, no border or airport would have allowed him in without a visa. I'm assuming that he was flag, knew it, but didn't read what was written in his passport before bouncing.
He didn't mention that he was denied in Nong Khai. I'm waiting for the confirmation before asking further questions. He would be the first case of denied entry in Nong Khai in history. It would set a precedent. But he didn't elaborate further on this.
He didn't get denied in Nong Khai from my understanding. I have never heard of Saphan Mitapap. There things he's not telling us regarding what is written in his passport.
I've never heard of Saphan Mitapap, but you can border run Nong Khai, no question asked. If you are denied there you would make history as the first person ever denied there.
As expected! I was debating this with a few people in another post. I was right all along. This is Thailand, ETA probably 3 more years, lol! The THB is too strong atm, it was never gonna happen anytime soon.
For those nervous about the "180 days" ruling. I've been here for over a decade. I did my third border run of the year 10 days ago, no question asked. I'm married so I can always get a marriage extension if I need to, but hate the 400k requirement and bouncing is less expensive than using an agent. Do not listen to angry old fart with zero experience bouncing in and out of Thailand. It takes 10 min. You get out, turn the corner on the other side of the Nong Khai bridge and come back into Thailand. It's that quick.
