Most people have been merging these documents into one PDF, which they then uploaded. However, not that you have submitted, you need to wait to hear back from the embassy.
- Again, the argument was around DTV being canceled by immigration. You are not showing any evidence that it was canceled due to taxes. Furthermore, it looks like this person had issues before their DTV. Ah, and last, you are jaded about the LTR visa. I understand. I was close to doing that too. Lucky I delayed.
- So, what I took from your post is that you have no proof. Ok. Furthermore, you are totally mistaken here. What visa are you on? Seems like you have an issue with DTV. Losing money?
No, I agree with the original poster. I have been saying all along that Dept of Immigration will absolutely request these type of documents when applying for an extension. Extensions fall under their mandate and they will absolutely do this. What I was asking was related to canceling of visas, which is an entirely different concept than denying and extension. The original visa was granted by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and therefore Dept of Immigration doesn’t have the power to cancel those visas (only DTV extensions). An agent in Thailand technically can’t do much with DTVs, because they require you to engage with an embassy outside of Thailand and not Immigration Offices in Thailand. He does have a lot to gain, if he convinces people to apply for extensions based on categories (retirement, etc), that can be extended for years with Immigration.
- Huh? Backlash? Not sure what you mean. Typically, the Department of Immigration can not cancel something approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as they are completely separate government agencies. Furthermore, tax IDs are handled by a completely different government agency. Love to see this post. Doubt it is real.
- the original poster is highlighting the requirements for successful extension. This sub-poster is trying to say that immigration is retrospectively canceling visas, which were granted by a different government agency. That is highly unlikely
Depends on the embassy. Usually 5-10 days. Are you also applying as a dependent, meaning your spouse already has one? If so, your DTV should take same amount of time as his
