Can I apply for a visa at the HCMC consulate in person instead of online?

Has anyone applied at the HCMC consulate in person? I know everything has moved online, but I keep hearing about problems with the online applications overwriting, autocorrecting, and generally not working, that I'm wondering if I can just fill it out and drop it off there, no mistakes. Any thoughts or insights?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among users indicates that in-person applications at the HCMC consulate are not permitted, as the system has transitioned to an online-only process. Comments emphasize that embassy gates remain closed to those attempting to apply in person, and issues with online applications have been acknowledged.

There's no choice, when online they won't even open the Embassy gate if you try to go (unless you're a Thai citizen needing consular assistance). I know because in my country it's been online like since forever. You can't pay a visit, and you'll be even lucky of they take the phone.

It has to be online and not in person.
