I wouldn't worry. You clearly don't fit the profile of someone who is trying to live and/or work in Thailand illegally. Bonafide tourists are not the target of the latest immigration crackdown. Read the comments from similar posts; the only ones shrieking and complaining all have several things in common, none of which apply to what you're doing.
