Based on what you’ve written, the rejections are most likely down to how the application looks on paper rather than anything being “wrong” with you.

A few points that may help:

Hanoi is known to be very strict for DTV, especially for remote work cases. Multiple rejections there isn’t unusual.

Salary itself usually isn’t the issue, 50k THB is not considered low for DTV.

Getting paid into a Thai bank while on non-work status in the past can raise red flags, even if the money comes from overseas. Immigration often focuses on history and patterns.

Contracts and recommendation letters not issued by email or without clear verifiable contact details can sometimes be treated cautiously, even if stamped and signed.

Previous long stays in Thailand on ED and freelance work can also trigger extra scrutiny.

If you apply again, many people in similar situations have had better results using a different embassy and making sure everything is very clearly documented, especially proof of remote employment that can be independently verified.

It’s understandable to feel hesitant after two rejections, but it doesn’t mean you’re permanently blocked. It just means this route and location hasn’t worked so far.

Good luck
