Can I use a Non-O visa to open a bank account in Thailand?

I am waiting 1 week for an approval from Siam Commercial… I went to The Blue bank krungthai - they told me my visa has to be an A or X… I have my yellow book, pink ID, drivers license… came in on a non - o visa … I received before I arrived … I had all my documents translated .. I am married for 10 years to a Thai … I need to transfer 800,000 bhat into my own savings … I retired October 27th 2025 …. My current visa is good till Jan 27th

I just need my bank account 🤷‍♂️

After reading this I am going to the k bank tomorrow
