wow my colleague Pete Webb got charged 12k for non o in Thailand 90 days but it was for marriage visa and then 20k for yearly extension they did everything though including the funds. So it seems rates are varied - this was in Chang btw
To answer your question you need the equivalent of 800k BHT in your own bank account in which ever country and currency you reside. Just one bank statement dated the same date as your application. Once in Thailand open the Thailand bank account and move the funds across. Job done
