Swimming over is best. The Atlantic ocean is smaller than the Pacific ocean, therefore much quicker. Pre ship your luggage to your decided destination. Then just go to whatever ocean is nearest you now, and jump in. Keep heading East and you'll arrive before you know it.

Tamera Stranan You're just not liking the information they are giving you. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Portia Kay Well then. No need to even ask if you are qualified. Just come right on over and the Thais will be knocking themselves out to hire you.

Mark Isiab She's nowhere near qualified enough for an international school. No need to even mention it. She'll be lucky to pull a job at all.

First off, July/August isn't a good time to look for teaching jobs. The second semester starts around November, so October is a good month to look. Are you from a Native speaking country? If so, with a certified degree, you have a good chance of finding a position. Non native speakers have a more difficult time finding jobs and also have to compete with others who will accept work for lesser salaries. You're in for a big surprise when you first get up in front of a classroom of Thai students. LOL

Bryan Kilvinski I'm afraid that I don't understand? I'm not looking for a teaching position. I'm already employed and working hard.

Darren Grist Okay 😊 I've heard and seen a lot of posts about teaching there. Most state that they are fairly desperate for foreign teachers and will 'bend the rules ' a little bit. I have no personal experience to know whether or not this is true.
