Eliyahu Haj There are a lot of unhelpful jerks on these forum so it is best to ignore those people and only communicate with the ones who are helpful ( like Andy) and provide substance and ignore the idiots that make stupid comment like "Just get a visa" as they obvious don't know your situation.

Many expats think because they have been here a long time they can be jerk offs to those who are still trying to figure things out as if they werent in your shoes before. I wish you luck and safe travels.

If you had a good visa agent it would be much easier and less guess work.

Talk to a Visa agent or a Thai immigration law firm. Most provide free consultations. I wouldn't take advice from random people on a forum. Expatden.com is a great resource.

For $15 a month sign up for Tello. I live in Thailand and use that service for my US number. Sign up while still in the US. I guess I am assuming your in the US.

The ask:thailand community, consisting of multiple Q/A groups with over 100,000 members, powers this platform. It is not an official government resource. Our members actively contribute to this resource, and while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee its complete reliability. Assistance to travelers is provided as a community service.
