My undestanding is - that visa lets you in for 90 days, open a bank acoount and apply for what the retirement visa is.

You have someone with a "Blue Book" for the property where you are staying or living at?

Wherever it is.

They have to take you to the City Council and report you as a live in person.

You need 2 witnesses who can sign in they know you. That is how you get that Yellow Book used for everything further.

I have it, the property deed with my name. Where is she staying? With the family in Japan, when in Thai, in that same condo.

Just today, as my wife flew from Japan to Thai, during her flight I sent 100K THB to her BKK Bank account, the money was waiting on her. A Thai national, her Internet banking that I have access to.

Quite likely, the account was opened with no visa number. Happened to many farangs who had their accounts open before this crackdown. Even 15 years ago.

From my residency nation (Japan), passport country is Australia.I Think it is a standard form, nothing special for me.

ID page of my passport they asked for , (no any other or blank pages), my picture, my ID of my residency (government issued). 3 months bank report (available online,m printed and attached it) that I have 800K THB in my local account. Approved in just over 5 days, Osaka, Japan.

Applied June 23. 2025 , approved June 30. 2025.

I did it with some free site recommended from here, concanenated the 3 reports into one, Thai approvedit for the "O" visa.

The "Original Copy" is the stamenent that many banks offer online, as .pdf. I had that, my "O" visa was approved based on that report.
