You can't do in the BKK as the internet needs a local phone number (unless that changed recently) which you don't have until you pass the place in which you need the internet. I really wish people would stop saying internet is available in BKK. It isn't unless you have a Thai phone number. It also only last one hour BTW. Once you get outside there is another system which you can access near the grab booth (if it works). This usually works but its too late by then. Immigration (were) planning on putting booths in arrivals to allow people to complete it but i am guessing currently that airlines will add this to the "list" of things you need to have done it prior to boarding BUT I'm yet to get any info on this from the IATA. If it gets added to timatic i will be told but by then people may have been caught..

This is amazing....you tell they you don't a return ticket...it gets accepted. Airline possibly deny you boarding based on the rules for your country of residence and departure point. Amazing.....No options for people with existing visas in the list of purpose of visit. What do you put if you live here with residence? Retirement Visa also no option but "other". The country list is all over the place as always. British is under G then other times is UK under U.

impossible. HSBC Thailand is corporate only. No personal banking. The sign in on their door in three languages. Picture on google if you don't beleive me. There are no "normal" foreign banks operating in Thailand.

rubbish like most of the stuff you say. Not long ago you were telling the person that announced the bank account problem that they were lying. Make your mind up......its actually still possible to open one on a tourist (visa exemption). I opened two since the 17th Feb when the rule came in. in two banks....and actually 4 if you count my partner. You just got to know what you are doing and who to ask. Certainly not you.

beginning of Feb then ..... they stopped 17th
