From our experinces, most of the countries requires at least 3 months, still we have seen that the Phillipines and the UK still accept the money in the account for around 1 month. The embassy require above 500,000 THB for each applicant, so you may need to show 1,000,000 - 1,500,000 THB for all the family members

The normal visa process at the embassy may take 2-3 weeks, though we have seen one have received the visa in 7 days.
