DTV Soft Power is an individual visa, so your boyfriend’s salary or job offer won’t be counted as financial support unless you are legally married.

Immigration mainly checks your own savings and your enrollment in the approved course/activity. You can mention you will live together, but it’s only supplementary.

So it’s better to focus on showing your personal funds and genuine participation in the program 🙂

I’ve seen similar cases when company documents are issued in a different country from the application post. Some embassies do require legalization by the Royal Thai Embassy in the country of registration, which can take significant time.

From my experience, applications supported by verifiable employment documents such as an employer letter, contract, and payslips, tend to be reviewed more smoothly than those relying solely on foreign company registration documents.

It may be helpful to ask the embassy whether alternative documentation would be acceptable before proceeding with a long legalization process.

A health check appointment alone is usually weak for medical DTV. Strong hospital documents *diagnosis, treatment plan, duration, paid appointments...etc are key.

In some cases, MFA may reclassify DTV to TR or MD if documents fit those categories better.

With no active contract, the freelancer route is risky, and medical DTV usually requires strong hospital documentation.

Many applicants in HAN have better results using approved soft power study programs with clear paperwork.

Yes ✅, even with a DTV, you still need to complete the TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card).

This is required by Thai Immigration for all travelers entering the country.

You can fill it in online here before your arrival:
