Doesn’t it get restarted the day you arrive?

I live in Malaysia and applied here. They are very thorough and from what I understand, even once all documents are submitted, KL are one of the slowest to approve. I did speak to the lady there and she said the reason was many previous applicants are submitting false documents. These types ruin everything for the rest of us.

It took me around 4 weeks for the approval.

I was charged a flat fee for everything.

I used an agent purely to help me because I was travelling and didn’t have much time. My agent was fantastic and very communicative. It didn’t cost me as much as quoted in this post.

If you don’t have the time, do it yourself. If you don’t have much time then choose a good agent with references.
