Anonymous participant It certainly varies by embassy. We have also seen where recent deposits are accepted in the UK. You said you saw a post where 3 months were required. I can only assume it was due to a staff member???

Anonymous participant That is the issue. Often it is not consistent. It can be down to the person who requests your application.

Been a couple of posts recently stating the money does not need seeding. Can be a recent deposit at UK Thai Embassy.

Anonymous participant 991 The way it has been handled is a mess. There is no consistency or clarity. I can understand if changes are made but they should be communicated with clarity and time given. As an example, many UK banks will not allow overseas addresses, ie non-UK residents, to keep their accounts open. They were given time and why these changes were made.

Exactly - I think many are around 400 USD for document check and submission. Course and 10k visa fee on top. I think that is a reasonable cost if someone does want to use an agent or their own reasons

Anonymous participant 748 Who is charging that much? The normal price from multiple agents is nowhere near that.

Good info. The seeding time of money is very useful

Just out of interest is it easier to apply outside of Singapore for a Singapore citizen? Asking because Singapore Thai Embassy is seen as a good location to apply for the B when needing it for Work Permit.
