i have just received my DTV visa today approved though LA. First i sent all info / papers July 17th and i didn't hear anything for 2 weeks. ( website say 15 business days minimum ) but i didn't see that. I sent the normal info/ requirements listed on the website and for "Freelance" but i was confused with the part to upload your portfolio... so i sent a screen shot of my work website only. They sent a message to the portal requesting more docs and said to upload those required docs again. i figured i would throw the kitchen sink this time and see what worked, haha.. i own my own business and sent them a PDF combined with 1 contract i have with a client, 1 business tax certificate bill and 2 page of my website /portfolio ( make sure its under 3mb i think ) and then a few days later Approved. hope this helps as the information they ask for is a bit confusing for some wanting to make sure they send the correct things! good luck.

that’s good to know, thank you for the response! Does it have to come from abroad? Or can I deposit cash into my thai bank account that I already have set up ? Thanks again!

bank account was easy in my experience. Go to US consulate and get your passport notarized / affidavit. And then bangkok bank will open account even with a regular tourist visa. It’s just waiting for appointment date at consulate that can take time.
