Anonymous participant I paid roughly the same in Denmark, I think it’s standard for the embassies to add a service fee on top. Applying in your home country is a huge advantage whenever you enter Thailand; it just seems more legit than applying from another SEA country so I believe the fee is actually going to be worth it in the end for you! Chokdee on getting the visa :)

and we agree that this isn’t necessary (applying for extension with all the paperwork) if we just make sure to leave at minimum every 180 days plus make the 90 days reporting, right?

it’s correct that you don’t need to do 90 days reporting? And you can stay for a total of 360 days per calendar year with one extension or how does that work? 🙏
