Yup I think that was why I was confused.

When I did my first year extension last year i'm pretty sure I got a 90 day receipt stating the next due date and so this year when I extended I just assumed it would be the same and reset my 90 days.

Although, as you mentioned, this year when I did my extension they didn't give me this receipt hence the 75 days overdue...

Oh well, live and learn ;) it wont happen again!

Do the cash/onward flight requirements still apply when entering on a re-entry permit/stamp?

Yeah bit annoying, it was a trainee immigration officer with another immigration officer. I saw them both make a face at something but they didn't tell me and I only realised after I'd gone through.... no problems when I came back in tho!

Ah got it round the wrong way... the rip is through the corner of the re-entry permit, the extension of stay is intact on a separate page...

One other little question actually....

I recently had to go out of Thailand and when I left the immigration officer accidentally ripped my passport page a little bit when pulling off the departure card. The rip is through a bit of my extension stamp but is still attached. Do you know if that is likely to cause any problems?
