For peace of mind just buy the cheapest bus ticket out of thailand to show them (with no intention of actually taking the bus)

I just applied today. I had the same questions so I reached out to the embassy in Vancouver and they responded very quickly with answers. They said any time it asks you to upload something that isn’t applicable, write the words “not applicable “ on a piece of paper, take a photo of it, and submit that 😆
