yes they have written it, in writing, or print at least. It is your duty to find it, read it, understand it and abide by the new tax rules. I'm sorry i don't have a copy easy to hand. It was sent to me through this Facebook group a while back after I posted an enquiry. If anyone has, please drop a copy/link here. 👍
don't listen to that joker, I've been in your position, I maxed out the tourist/exempt stamps, an ED visa, and after buying a house here and committing everything to Thailand, I went with Elite visa as I didn't want to risk rejection. You should wait and see these 'visa changes', if they even happen. 👍
what visa do you have that gives you any authority to tell others to get a 'proper visa'. Pipe down kiddo. I'm on holiday for 5 years now. There's not always a perfect fit visa.
Are you not extending those visas from inside Thailand ? Both the 60 day tourist visa and 30 day visa exempt stamp can be extended at an immigration office for another 30 days, for 1900 baht. So 2x tourist visas would give you 180 days (60+30 and 60+30). And each visa exempt stamp gives you 60 (30+30 and another 30+30). That's 10 months. You have spent them by month 6. Month 5 if you have been in Vietnam for a month.. you are doing something wrong.
yeah, it's literally not worth my time to deal with that much like my lazada returns, they just don't happen. Agora and many businesses do similar and its in the hope that so many customers won't apply the cash back, subsidising those that do.
How much does a cup of coffee cost ?Ɓ (ie it doesn't really matter does it, if you want it)
Whatever, you'll have enough change in your pocket to pay for it. Or is it a case of, if its free you'll get one, or maybe if its 200 maximum. But at 500, no way.. they are taking liberties. I don't understand what you will decide upon with any answer(s). You need it. Its dirt cheap. So........
ok, I understand your predicament more now. Of course you are being a little demanding with Chiang RAI, as I would think Chiang Mai has flights in from more departure cities/countries. So as someone else mentioned - codeshares. As example you fly London Heathrow to Chiang Mai, but with a changeover in BKK. The last leg of the journey, BKK to Chiang mai will be flown by thai Airways, usually with a thai Airways plane/staff. But you'll have a single ticket and won't need to collect/deposit bags at all.
Or am I missing your point entirely ?
Finally, go hand luggage only if possible. That will change your life.
