Dave Mallon they checked my confirmation print out. And although it cleanly had my name and said CONFIRMED there was no queue #, which apparently there should have been. So the girl went to the desk to check. Fortunately my name and queue # was on the list and they allowed me inside. It’s a strict door. But the timing once inside was so sort. In and out in minutes. Just had to wait 3 weeks traveling in Laos for the appointment as I only learned of the new system after I had already bought my plane ticket. All good though. Laos is beautiful!

Yes Tito. I did. It takes up to 5 business days to process. Some countries allow to pick up the next day. Not the case in Kathmandu. So plan for extra days. You’ll need 1 Photocopy of your passport

3 Passport photos – 3.5 x 4.5 cm version

3 Thai visa applications - They actually have carbon paper.

Printed bank statement (application states that you need 6 months evidence, but I printed just my last one month bank statement and had no problem)

Oddly. You need to pay the 3,000 Nepal Rupees per entrance plus 50 NPR for bank fee at the Bank of Kathmandu before you can submit your paper work. There is one about a mile or less away. Then take that receipt to the embassy.

I hope this helps. Enjoy lovely Nepal. The spirit land. Namaste

Brad Thompson. Yes I did. $50 US for Myanmar visa. I spent 3 weeks there. Also. The famous Swedagon temple is nearby the embassy. You can visit for $10. I had already been to I took a taxi to the Aung Mingalar bus station and took the 5 hr drive to the Golden Rock temple. Visited that night. Left in the morning back to Yangon straight to the embassy. I could have left that evening but my flight was the next day. I’ll write a blog on Myanmar. Send me a message if you want it. Or fb request as I don’t want to spam on this page. 🙏🏼🇲🇲😊

Brad Thompson I needed

-proof of tickets in and out of Thailand

-2 photos

-$40 US, new bills only. They give change back in US

-And filled in paper work

No proof of hotel.

I stayed at the Hotel Azure as they were running a promotion for $14 on Agoda. It was the nicest hotel I stayed at in a year. A.C. hot water and the best bed. Super clean. Prices are usually $35 to stay here. It was a mile to the hotel. 22 min walk. I took a taxi for $1.50.
