How long is the processing time for the e-VISA through Kathmandu? The information on their website is not updated since when they were still using VFS Global Center, so I am seeking more up to date info from those who have recently applied.

just posting to say my wife and i applied for and received our non-immigrant single entry O and ED visas from the kathmandu, nepal embassy in 3 days’ time. it was a breeze, the wait was next to nothing (walk ins only, no appointment) and the processing was super fast. it may help that it is the off-season in kathmandu but worth considering for some visa purposes (it is a more expensive trip than laos or KL)

Sawasdee kaa. I will be applying for my 60 day tourist visa in Kathmadu. Anyone have experience with this office? It says it takes 3-5 business days for visa. Is this true? I’m trying to decide when I should return to Kathmandu as I’m traveling the country now. Thank you for advise.

And do I need all the normal stuff like proof of plane ticket...ticket in and out. I have a bungalow in Thailand so no hotel info. But I don’t have paper work/receipt for my bungalow. Should I just book one night online to show proof? Thanks for anyone who has experience here. I’ll post my experiences when done.
