Thanks in advance. Booking Accommodation Info for entry. Its bloody confusing. Will one night suffice? I cant give them my whole schedule as I dont have one? So will one night suffice? SHA , Alternative or organized ? Just looking for the simplest requirement. Plus insurance ? have you found its sold in blocks of months, years or days. Because I have no definite duration of stay.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about accommodation and insurance requirements for entering Thailand without a definite travel schedule. Comments suggest that booking one night at a SHA Plus hotel is sufficient if coming from a safe country, emphasizing the need to have insurance for the period of entry. It's noted that insurance can typically be booked in blocks of months and advice is provided on how to handle duration concerns with authorities.

Does booking.com have a hotel offer with a 7-day quarantine?

Buy insurance to cover the time you will be stamped in for on arrival. 60 days for tourist visa, 30 days for visa exempt entry. Just put your hotel name for where you are staying.

No definite duration of stay doesn't exist for the authorities unless you hold a residence permit, in which case 1 month insurance is enough.

Its really not that difficult. Who is asking for your schedule?

Start with the Thai embassy website of your country. What type of visa do you want? Are you vaccinated? Are you traveling from a safe country? Pick your flavor.

Ask for a quote from an insurance company for the time you are staying

you mean when they ask on that form after booking a hotel? Just pick some address of a guesthouse somewhere. Maybe you'll go maybe you wont :)
