If I get the work permit sooner, can we go to the immigration early for my extension and his visa transfer? His visa expires May 31st and we can do the 30 day extension to get him to the end of June. If we have to wait longer, he'll have to do a border bounce. We can do this if we have to, but trying not to.

I guess I'm unsure of what a notary public is validating? I was under the impression they need the embassy to verify my documents, not witness me signing them. I have all original documents with raised seals, but they've stated they need something more.
