Just to add, you need to cancel your work permit first, and take that paperwork to immigration to cancel your current extension.

Did you maintain the monthly payments for this current year? If you did not, and wanted to change to 800k, you would have had to put it in essentially the day you got your last extension.

Ok , YOU need to cancel your work permit and extension of stay before you bounce out and in. You can cancel a few days prior to your departure.

Can I file my 90-day report in a different province in Thailand?

You do your 90 day report where your TM30 is filed, so if you file a new TM30 in the other province, you would be able to do your 90 report there.
