totally agree, I wouldn’t drive anywhere in Phuket or anywhere around Bangkok. I have driven around Buriram before and that was OK but no way would I drive anywhere around the popular tourist destinations

I think you are much better to fly to Phuket and if you really want to drive yourself around, hire a car in Phuket

when I went to change my plan with AIS, I had to show my ID. But you might be right, other carriers may be less careful.

I would doubt any decent hotel would allow a guest to prepare their own food in their kitchen.

But I have seen a number of Bangkok hotels with kitchenettes but don’t know what they include
