 when I went to change my plan with AIS, I had to show my ID. But you might be right, other carriers may be less careful.

Are there hotels in Bangkok and Pattaya that offer guest kitchens for self-catering?

I would doubt any decent hotel would allow a guest to prepare their own food in their kitchen.

But I have seen a number of Bangkok hotels with kitchenettes but don’t know what they include
