. Not the answer I wanted to hear but good to know. :( Really hoping they extend the amnesty so I don't have to go back to the UK and then get to Penang from the UK instead of Krabi!

Thanks. Yes, that's the visa I meant when I said I'll apply this week. I wasn't sure if I could get a 60 day visiting Thai family visa but seems like I can, so that's what I'm going to apply for - not the extension of stay.

OK thanks for the advice. I'll go apply next week then. I just wanted to check that I can apply for that visa. I can't apply for the Non-O again because I don't have the 400k in the bank for it. So, really hoping I can get into Malaysia soon! :)

They did let me have the money in my account for one day a couple of years ago and said that it only needed to be in there for one day anyway. So, I asked if I can have it in there for one day next year and they said no, 60 days! I don't fancy having an argument with them though, and pointing out what it says in the police order!

No seasoning for raising half Thai children? Krabi immigration always make me have the 400k in my account for 60 days. So I'm really allowed to have it in there for one day?
