Can I get a 60 day visiting Thai family visa if I had one in the past?

Hi, I posted recently about getting a 60 day visiting Thai family visa on top of my non-O. My non-O expires on 20th July and I was planning to move to Malaysia then, so not renewing it. But I can't move to Malaysia because the border is closed to tourists until at least September. I went to Krabi immigration last week and they said no, I can't get an extension because I already had a 60 day visiting family visa in 2014 and I can't get it again. Do you know if that's right? I can't believe that I'm not allowed another one six years later. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of obtaining a 60 day visiting Thai family visa after having had the same visa in 2014. They have been told by immigration that they cannot be issued the visa again due to prior usage.

and have you been on yearly extensions of stays from the immigration office all this time OR on Non-O visas <- where you bounce out and back in every 90 days?

. Not the answer I wanted to hear but good to know. :( Really hoping they extend the amnesty so I don't have to go back to the UK and then get to Penang from the UK instead of Krabi!

Yearly extensions.

that's why, That immigration office interprets it as you can get a 60 day visit thai family ONCE per extension. Meaning, if you've been on unbroken yearly extensions since then you can't get another one.

IF you were on Non-O VISAS <- where you bounced out and back in every 90 days you could get a 60 day extension once per entry OR once per visa depending on the immigration office.
