I have a passport full of covid visa extensions .

I have been out and in Thailand two times from Malaysia 🇲🇾 with a working visa recently

They will look at your passport for a long time as Tod Daniels says even if you have changed your visa status .

I have been approved entry but it is not a pleasant experience to be singled out and checked for a long time compared to others .

The Covid extensions grab their attention in the system

Option 2 seems safer than option 1 with the immigration

I enjoyed south East Asia before covid .

I took the multiple entry tourist visa : this is the right visa for that

My advice , wait til summer time or end of the year to start it

We are in transitioning months where they are slowly removing covid conditions : pcr test , Thailand pass, covid insurance …
