yes it is. That’s what I used it for. Official business in America. Never heard a peep about it when I submitted it. All the notary’s on staff are Americans in America. I was referred to it by an American on this page and she said she used it for some pretty sophisticated transactions in America and also had no issues.
You can do online notary. I have used it and it’s widely accepted. Very thorough. You sign up for an account. Scan in your document and then wait in a queue for a notary to do a “Skype” call to verify your info. They then return your documents notarized in full.
Interesting and understandable take. I am like you however, in that I do it myself and just can’t see paying that much for it. I am on a marriage extension of stay based on marriage and cash in the bank. So once a year kill a few trees and go sit in immigration. I don’t work, plenty of time on my hands....no big deal to me to just endure it.
I stressed hard for the first one because I’m paranoid but in the future I know it is what it is....
Again, appreciate the concern but most if not all of his clients for the entire firm are expats working aboard and most in the Middle East that are making more than $10K a month. They are well aware as it is literally the foundation of their company.
When I did my taxes this year I let my accountant know that I had an account here with more than $10K USD. He said ok. That was that. I didn’t see any additional tax burden.
