depends on what the package is labelled as. They obviously have a guidebook on what to charge on... When people have sent gifts for my daughter, they labelled gifts, toys and clothes, no charge. If customs feels they can charge import tax, they will. I’ve known people to label new phones as clothes / toys and not pay tax. The risk is yours to take.
that’s what I do, I bring a roll of wrapping paper and leave unwrapped in my hold bag. Chances are it won’t be searched and opened and I can wrap when I arrive at destination.
I was coerced because I have family all over the world and my love to travel. It’s all BS and we are on the same page in many regards mate. “Stay safe” 😂… What a load of bollox.
btw, I hate the idea of being tracked and traced. People say if you’re not doing anything wrong, why do you have a problem with it blah blah… I don’t think any of this crap we have gone through all over the world, is justified. But I also don’t like seeing people try out others off from coming to Thailand right now. Thailand needs us. The people and economy need us… And there is still a good time to be had.
I didn’t. It hasn’t been checked anywhere. Life goes on. And yes I have also lived in Thailand for the last 5 years but, was away for a few months and just returned. It’s Thailand, remember… They love the hype of a new rule but get easily and quickly bored of it.
not sure on prices. I left a couple of days ago and only saw waiting times advertised on posters, no prices. You’ll have to Google that mate. Will probably be around the going rates of 1900 antigen and 3800 PCR I would imagine.
you don’t need to ask all these numpties if you know the answer. Antigen test will do and you can do it at Suvarnabhumi airport. Level 2, just outside the exit doors.
