"Haha", not exactly, no. Another one of your guesses? Working in the hospitality industry. Any problem with that? What’s wrong with being a teacher? Trying to show off by any chance? Changing jobs while on a marriage visa with a Thai national you've obtained since your very first visit here... yeah, sounds totally legit. You're certainly more legit now working online under a DTV than you were before. 👌

Yes, some people actually manage to build a career here. The difference between us is that I’ve been on the same visa for 15 years, while you’ve been here for 10 and are now on a DTV after bouncing through various others. How does that make you more legit? Visa runs? Eight years on an education visa for 'intense language classes'? Don’t judge others when you’re in no position to. I must be a 'VIP' then definitely not your case with your visa ping-pong. Legit boy. 😂 Full of judgement, zero argument.

Anonymous participant 612 And look at their names... And their AI pics. 😂 There are a bunch of Chuck Norris here who will tell you're wrong as being anonymous.

Sure, full of red flags yet I’ve been on the same visa for 15 years. Glad to hear you're working closely with immigration and know everything about it. I can tell you're irritated by anonymous users who challenge you more than others do. It's because you can't stand being wrong that you end up deleting your previous replies.

@John ******
Why did you delete your replies where you claimed visas aren't subject to checks? 😂😂😂 Glad you finally start to recognize that having a visa doesn’t mean immunity. The next step is understanding that checks can be random.

PS: The OP isn't my gf sadly. What else do you have? Am I an agent? Am I working for immigration? Stop digging your pointless arguments.

Anonymous participant 838 Yes, the visa is issued by the MFA, but they seem to struggle with consistent requirements across embassies and deeper individual checks. That’s not new. Immigration used to partially handle that during local renewals with other Non-immigrant visas. What’s new with the DTV is that you can now leave and re-enter for five years without visiting Immigration. The real issue is some people start off legit, then shift to shady activities hence why immigration has a final word on your entrance. And again, that's not something new and linked to DTV only, Immigration used to deny entry on various types of visas and exemptions.

Anonymous participant 612 Because you're going against their dream of an immunity visa with full benefits... And you're an anonymous, so by definition you're always wrong even if they can't bring an relevant argument against what you're reporting. Sad people.

@John ******
Then maybe take the time to understand what’s happening to other visa holders, instead of hiding behind your broken record of 'you’re anonymous, so you’re always wrong and I know everything.' Sure, all EDs are anonymous... 😂 You keep dodging my main argument because you can’t or won't acknowledge that ED and volunteer visa holders have had trouble at the borders. Now you're jumping to my Non-B… How is that even relevant? Are you seriously suggesting I can't be part of the conversation or share my opinion? You're already running out of argument even before getting a valid one 😅.

@Siggi ******
Volunteer is almost dead. You know nothing about Thailand... Mr. "Teerak" should be banned.

ED visa holders being checked at the border does that ring a bell? Glad to hear you're working in tourism! I am too, with my 15 years on a Non-B. And yes, I’ve been checked twice myself. That's not because it doesn't happen to you that it doesn't happen at all.
